    Hi Terry.

Two quick questions. I purchased the Internet Retirement lifestyle product from you not too long ago. I thought I saw a dvd or cd done with Fred GleeK on putting out products quick. Am I mistaken? If not, could you tell me whether it is a cd or DVD and the # ?

Also, I’m interested in doing an interview product. I’m wondering though with seemingly everyone now pushing interviews, is the public outside of internet marketing folks all that interested in purchasing an interview with someone? Perhaps that’s a silly question, but thought I should ask.

Thanks for your reply. I thoroughly enjoy your site and newsletter.

    Hi Leslie,

Yes, there is a CD in the Lifestyle System that have Fred Gleeck talking about information products. It’s CD #2. That is a different presentation but it definitely talks about information products.

The public outside of internet marketing is going to be an even better market for interviews.

The key here is to make sure you don’t just do a general subject, but make it much more specific and cover one of the big four subjects (making money, relationships, health, or hobbies). For example, how to market online is a general subject. “How a real estate agent grew their business online during a housing bust” is much more specific. Any of those 4 could become specialized like this by finding the right expert.

In fact, look at the list of 6 subjects I mention on the sales page that Fred tells me during the interview (he has more but those are the ones mentioned). They’re not internet marketing.

    Terry,

Your saying this is a different presentation but does that mean that the content is different, expanded upon the course presentation, or the same?

In other words, if I already have the content from your course do I really need this or not?

    Billy

    Hi Billy,

I think the best way to answer this is if you have the Internet Lifestyle System, you don’t “need” this course. But I will say that if you plan on doing interviews as one of your product types (you’ll notice I obviously do since this is an interview product), I’d definitely pick it up. I mention interviews in my other course, but we don’t go real in depth on them.

    Hi Terry,

I’ve just finished listening to all of the audios in this program. I got it this morning. When I say how many audio files there were I thought I’d break up the listening over a few days. But you kept me listening all the way through.

I think this is the first audio I have with you. I’ve heard Fred before – he is really at his best here. The two of you together here, really makes for an easy listening audio. You two are a great team on audio.

Thank you for putting this together and the special offer.
It was well worth it. I learned at least one valuable tip in each of the 7 audios. And my brain was coming up with ideas for all sorts of audios.

I bought it for your bonus Interview Outline – thinking this would save me some time preparing for a couple of interviews coming up. But I got much, much more out it.

    Quick question:

Have interviewees ever requested payment for the interview . . . or has anyone had a potential interviewee put real restrictions etc on an info product?

    Thanks

  7. Terry on June 19th, 2008 5:51 am

    Hi Noel,

Neither I nor any of my clients has ever paid for an interview. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone someday would ask for payment, but we haven’t done so. Some times you may get someone who puts a restriction on the product (especially when interviewing very big names such as best selling authors). They’ve all been very reasonable though.

Terry, I just stumbled across your fascinating page. Is there anyway I can still take advantage of the 50% coupon?

Money’s tight these days as I’m sure you can appreciate.

    Thanks,
    Derek

    Derek:

This special is no longer available. When I run limited time specials on the blog, they really are limited to that time frame (or that quantity).

    Hi Terry.

I just thought I would drop you a quick follow-up comment regarding the interview with Fred Gleeck in your Internet Lifestyles program and your most recent cd together on interview products.

Now that I have listened to them both I have to say you were right. Surpisingly, though both cd products discussed how to use interviews as an information product, I did not find the material on the most recent CD redundant in any way. Rather, both products were deeply informative wtih insights I will continue to appreciate more fully as I gain more experience.

    Thanks for your superb products.

    Leslie Campbell
