Terry, that is what I was thinking as well. I have done public events with a specific structure and a stream of consciousness - interacting with people.

The challenge for a blabber mouth like me is to know when to shut up and like you say, link back to my website.

Hi Greg,

I'm glad you brought this up.

I would never give them the right to use your "primary" content. What I see them best used for is as a webinar...which generally is when you share content, but you also have "backend" offers.

And that you insert your website address in it regularly. So if they were to republish, you benefit.

Terry, since you mentioned Ustream.tv I need to ask a question. I looked at the Terms of Service and balked at their ability to re-purpose and reuse the content any way they see fit - in item 6 B they state:

<blockquote>"Ustream.tv does not claim ownership rights in your User Submissions. However, by uploading, streaming, submitting, emailing, posting, publishing or otherwise transmitting any User Submission to Ustream.tv or on the Site, you hereby grant Ustream.tv a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, perpetual and irrevocable right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, prepare derivative works based on, perform, display, publish, distribute, transmit, broadcast and otherwise exploit such User Submissions in any form, medium or technology now known or later developed, including without limitation on the Site and third party websites."</blockquote>

Does that give you pause? It did for me, after assigning the rights for my two books to McGraw-Hill and just starting to develop an info business that I own - how would you recommend usin Ustream?

Or is it simply a matter of being careful what you reveal when broadcasting using it?

I know this there is no perfect situation but it does make me wonder how to best use it. Perhaps only as a promotional tool?

I did notice that they allow you to create private area that people would need a password to enter.

Just thinking things through before I use them. Interested in your perspective. Thanks in advance.
