Are You this Passionate?

How passionate are you about your business?

I’ve covered before that it’s entirely possible to build a profitable business doing something you don’t enjoy…but the big question is WHY would you want to do that?

There are SO MANY opportunities online. There are so many ways you can make money. Why force yourself to do something you absolutely hate.

Here’s a video I enjoyed that really demonstrates the “passion” you can have in business. I didn’t especially enjoy the ‘language” he uses or agree with him fully on the message, but the passion is evident.

Gary Vaynerchuk is well known online from his Wine TV site.

This video would be rated PG (so please don’t watch if you’ll be offended).

    Hi Terry,

Thanks for this post. I truly agree with you on this from experience.

I’ve worked for nasty people and hated it!

    I don’t do that anymore :-)

    I’m now a fitness coach.

I love helping people to get healthy, lose weight and look great. It’s fun to help people.

    Sincerely,

    Jeremiah

He is absolutely right. Stop trying to :get rich quick.” Do it the old fashioned way, working hard at doing what you love. The passion will be rewarded, by money if you do.

I found Gary V while searching for information about wine. And then discovered he’s got a ton of great business advice! He’s a great find. Went to his book signing at Powells. Thanks for the video.

Yeah doing things out of passion will attract the money you wanted.

Do not chase after money but do what you love and money will chase after you.

    That is passion!

    Thanks for the video Terry!

Needs a part two to this video i.e. you must also do something you’re good at. You only have to look at auditions for American Idol or similar programs to see that!

I think MONEY is the main reason why people disregard their passion just to earn money. Maybe it’s because of the potential market of the product or popularity or demand as most people know.

Thanks for the reminder of the power passion can have in business. Learning from mentors with extraordinary minds can lead to exciting successes which, in turn, fuel more passion for even bigger successes. You have helped so many!

they say if you are doing what you love than you never have to work a day in your life and if you are truelly passionate and love what you are doing than the money will come regardless, not only that but it leads to a very fullfilling life.

In order to be successful in every business, hardwork is necessary. This can only be possible if a person start with his/her passion in doing business. Otherwise, it will be a struggle.

The passion you have for what you do is a huge factor in whether or not you succeed at it or not. It’s not actually the passion itself that causes your success, it’s the extra above and beyond effort that you put in to your field. This effort, however, is a direct result of your passion.
