It’s been quite a while since I ran a contest here. So let’s do it. I’m going to give away a copy of my new course, “Internet Lifestyle Retirement System” to one winner on Monday.

Instead of just running a random contest, let’s make this one work like this.

Post below in the comments why I should choose you to receive this product, and what you will do with it once you receive it.

I will then choose a winner Monday from the comments on this post. No purchase necessary to enter and no favoritism will be showed to customers in any way. Just post a comment below of why you want the product and what you will do with it. I have final say-so of which one I pick.     I need your Internet Lifestyle Retirement System course because after driving myself crazy with information overload for the past year, I’ve realized the folly of bouncing around following the advice of so many internet gurus and I’m ready to follow a system so I can finally realize my long-held dream of replacing my 20 year old trading-time-for-money business model with a business model that leverages my time and effort.     Your Internet Lifestyle Retirement product is PERFECT for me. I am 61 years old and would like to retire from my “day job” world of sales that I have been in for the last 30 years and begin a new career.

    I need to replace my current income with an income that will allow me to live anywhere.

    My wife needs to be in a better climate for health reasons and succeeding with an internet business would be a godsend.

    This is a fabulous idea!
    In 2000, I had a mastectomy. 10% of all woman who have one will have severe nerve damage. I’m one of those lucky few. For 27 years I have been an architectual and interior designer. Have been in over twenty national magazines and coffee table books. I can no longer draft because of pain. However, I learned three years ago that I sculpt better than I do anything else. I also have a novel that I am going to be self publishing. So, the reason I want your course is because I was used to making over $100,000.00 a year. And, since the war in Iraq, bronze and other metal prices have tripled or more. I would love to have double or more than the income I used to make. That would enable me to have more of my sculptures bronzed and free me to do more writing.

    Hi Terry,
    I am so excited about this contest! I’ve listened to the video and seen all the products you are offering and just know it would be a God-send for me. When I started with the intern program I was determined to succeed and do everything you asked of me. There were a lot of things I didn’t think I could do, but I tried and it may not have been very good, but I did it. You offered so much help and encouragement. I have tried for a long time to do it on my own, but just couldn’t figure everything out. I should be close to retirement, but just don’t have the funds to do it. The business that I have is quite labor intensive and I know I won’t be able to do it much longer. I also have a friend I would like to help. She is on disability, she’s deaf, and her check will be cut in half next January and she is beside herself as to what she’s going to do. This is something I could teach her and we could do together. I also have children I would really like to get into this, at least part-time and maybe grow into full-time.
    I truly know that I would make good use of this program. I’m already thinking I could put my portable DVD player right beside my PC and watch the videos as I’m doing it.
    One thing I know is that I would appreciate it as much or more than anyone.
    Even if someone else wins, it still will not deter me from following and finishing the intern program. I WILL make this work no matter what comes my way.

    Before I go into the reason why I would be a good choice to receive your Internet Lifestyle Retirement System, I want to let Frank know I feel his pain. There is so much information out there it is very easy to get distracted and pulled in many directions.

    Now for the reason why I would be a good choice. I am a beginner and have only in the past two months started delving into the beginnings of an internet business. What raised my interest was when I came across some information about you and your intern program. I came across your name because I was searching for a PLR source for Ebooks to offer on my business website.

    From that day forward after reading about you and your business I was convinced I could do this also. Maybe not the extent you have, but in a fashion that would help to boost my income to a six figure level.

    With all the information on the net it is so easy to get distracted and to be pulled in the direction of the next big deal that will make your fortune without evening knowing if the source is reliable or not. From the very beginning I realized the necessity to have a trust in the source of my learning and to focus on what is taught.     I’m a self-publisher of 5 information products. I market and sell my products via the Internet. I have many more ideas and concepts in the works.

    My business goal is the create a homebased information
    business that will allow me to eliminate debts, start
    college funds for my 2 children, and create a lifestyle
    that will allow me to contribute to society, my family,
    and do the things that make life more enjoyable (traveling,
    investing, and tidings … to name a few).

    For the last few years I’ve struggled in getting my
    information publishing business off the ground.

    I have attempted to use search engines, writing articles, PPC,
    JV’s, advertising in newsletters, and linking startegies to reach
    my target market.

    I’ve had success with Google ads and Overture (yahoo)
    combined with press releases. But I need a system that
    works. One that will really show me how to put it all
    together. I know you are the expert I need to make it
    all happen and I’m more than positive that the

    Hi Terry,

    I’ve owned or co-owned two businesses in my past experience. I’m currently working (or trying to work)in the construction industry and we all know what is going on in that market. I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit and when I put my creative thinking cap on a couple of years ago, I decided that construction and remodeling would be a good business vehicle for me. I enjoy providing my customers with products and services that they truly benefit from and I wanted a career that, while requiring hard work, also gave me a fair amount of freedom with my schedule and personal life.

    To a large degree, the last 2 years have been part of what I hoped it would be. But even in this current business, I have been subject to market changes that can be difficult when I have a limited geographical area from which to draw customers.

    I have had an interest and an undeveloped passion for Internet marketing for several years now. When I decided to go into construction a while back, instead of Internet marketing,that decision was made in part because I already had knowledge and skills about construction. I knew I could provide true value to my customers with the skills I already had. And while I assumed that was true with an Internet based product line, I didn’t have the knowledge or training to know how to go about it.

    I now find myself enjoying my creative thoughts again(fantasizing?)about what kind of products or services I could offer using an Internet business model. Like you, I have no desire to make money off of people who are ultimately regretful that they paid me or heard of me. I also share your love of God and Jesus. I believe that building an online business could really fit into my life goals right now without compromising my sense of business ethics. The challenge is I need to learn how from someone who is both knowledgeable and ethical. From what I’ve read and researched, you just might be the “right” instructor for me and my new business.

    I don’t know how many responses you will get for this contest or from whom. And since I don’t know any of these other people, I can’t honestly say whether some other person is more deserving than me. What I can say is that if I am selected, you can be confident that the information will be of great value to the recipient, it will be appreciated and it will not be wasted on someone who does nothing with it. I am prepared to work and succeed, I just need some guidance from an honest, knowledgeable coach such as yourself.

    You want to see people succeed with your IM systems and advice and become raving fans. Right, Terry?

    I am a success story waiting to happen. Have written 3 books on the career/job hunting field, have a mailing list of 10 000, have a newsletter that goes out weekly to list.

    But have never quite got it all together to make serious money online – although I have to say my business runs on it, my service are sold via it – but information products have never really taken off (which is really what I want).

    Sometimes lost in a confusion of advice and gurus.

    Sometimes not.

    Sometimes totally focussed and clear on my goals.

    Sometimes not.

    Have tackled IM with new vigor and ideas in the last month.

    But need expert direction.

    Big fan since reading your “X-factor” book. Like your straight talk approach.

    I’ve been reading your blog for several months now and I’ve been impressed with your straight-forward, no nonsense approach to business and your writing style. I left my corporate career last year and have been floundering around in my attempts to build my coaching and training business. There is just SO much information and advice out there! I’ve become stuck in analysis paralysis and as a consequence, I haven’t made the kind of progress I want and need to make. In reviewing your video about the Internet Lifestyle Retirement product, it appears to be just what I need to get unstuck, get focused, and start moving in the right direction. I have the innate ability and attitude to create a successful business, I just need the right tools. I appreciate your generosity of spirit in making this offer.

    Dear Terry,
    Thanks for the opportunity to compete in your contest.
    I am really interested in your product and would love the opportunity to have it to use to build my business.
    I believe you already know what kind of effort I will put into building a business, now you just need to know the “Why”.
    I want to build a business that is about gov’t and politics, especially on how our gov’t and politics today is broken and corrupt and really cheat American citizens out of their vote.
    Terry I have always tried to earn my way in life.
    I served 3 years in the United States Marine Corps., served 13 months in Viet Nam,(1968-1969),have always voted , and have always loved and believed in my country.
    I believe every American should give at least 2 years of service to their country, it really builds character.
    I would use your product to help me build a strong business that will grow and someday have the power to reach the majority of the citizens in this great country and inform them on what is wrong, how to fix it and then motivate them to take action.
    This may seem like a task that can’t be reached, but you never know until you try.
    I want my children and my grand children to be able to live their lives like I was able to live mine, free with a chance to improve their own life with hard work and effort.Today that is very hard to do.

    On the individuals having trouble playing the video, it’s posted on Youtube and is currently working. If you have any issues with Youtube videos, that may be the problem.

    I will not be picking a winner of the contest until Monday so hopefully the video will be playable for anyone who has had trouble with it.

    I’m not really swayed by the desire for big $$$- I’ve got a cozy home and an amazing family- with brand new twins (5hamiltons.com). The lifestyle I am seeking is to be in their lives as much as possible.. and let them follow dad’s example in adventure, actions and heart. Step one, I believe, is TO BE THERE. A smart online business would allow me that opportunity.

    2. I Can Help Folks
    My business niche is helping online marketing Newbies with all the technology they’re going to need.. a chasm I’ve seen too many people grow frustrated and get lost in. I’ve got a weird combination of techno-geek/patient teacher, and it feels great when clients have fewer tech related headaches, and more victories because of what I do. But the cries for step-by-step help are getting louder, and I want to learn to be more effective.

    This looks like an awesome product!
    I’m ready to recommend this to everyone interested in breaking free from the time-for-money trap. Beyond knowing your stuff your actions show you are trustworthy and you genuinely care about others. It seems harder and harder to find people with these qualities online and I can’t work with those I don’t trust.

    I am most excited about the bonus DVDs. The training materials look awesome for breaking my website out of the hobby stage and into a full blown *business* complete with systems and procedures. I have been reticent to bring people on board without known good procedures for results oriented tasks.

    I am a geek that naturally falls into a teaching role. I am currently teaching others the technical side of how to create info products. I do not yet have the marketing chops to take people beyond the creation step. I would love to go through this course, put it into action, and be able to whole-heartedly recommend it to my clients.

    I’m not desperate. In fact, I have a successful small business that earns a good income in the low figures. But I have plateau’d and I have to work immensely harder to earn the same money. I also have the pressure of earning enough to support 8 team members and their families. The pressure is on, and I know that I can change all that with MSI’s.

Your system can help me move from one source of income where I work hard to support 9 families (mine plus 8 people) to several sources that will give me more freedom…freedom to pay more attention to my health, physical and mental, to spend more time with my beautiful wife, and my wonderful daughters.     Thank you for allowing us to compete for this information. I believe my interest lies in that I am a teacher and live in my home town which is a resort town. I, unfortunately want to stay but it is getting harder and harder to stay here. My mom, sister, two cousins and uncle live here also. I had always hoped that we would be able to stay here and not be forced to move but we have so many people that are independently wealthy moving in it is getting harder. My family helps support my mom who recently lost her husband of 61 years! We miss my dad but are going on there just seems to be so much to do with doctor bills and all. Anyway, I’d like to be able to help her more and be able to send my daughter to a specialized camp that will help her with her learning disability.

    I’m not here to ask for a copy of the program. Do I want it? Heck yes!

    Why am I not asking? Because I know that I have what I need to continue my own process of success. I don’t want the information to sit on a shelf while I take care of business…

    This is a point I want to make to OTHERS…

    If you are someone who buys every “new thing” that comes along, DON’T request this package. It would be a shame for it to sit on the shelf with all of the other “new things”. Let someone who is going to MAKE USE OF IT win this opportunity.

    Then, if we are all lucky, they will share their success using the program, and help to move each and every one of us forward in the process (it is a process you know).

    Frankly, I’m surprised there are only 20 comments so far (not counting mine). If you take even the slightest amount of time reading this blog, and don’t think you could make giant steps forward with more in depth instruction, you’re just doing “research” (aka “surfing” the net) and will not move forward regardless of the vast amount of information you most likely already have (or will acquire).

    Wow! This is a pedigreed product containing what seems like a portion of wisdom from every one of your own success stories.

    I have been reading a book by Dr. Helen Harkness “Don’t Stop the Career Clock” so I am not planning on retiring anytime soon. But I am redesigning my career.

    I think you should pick me for the following reasons…

    1. I promise not to allow “Internet Lifestyle Retirement System” to gather dust on the bookshelf… or anywhere else for that matter.

    2. I promise to remove the cellophane, crack open the DVD’s, CD’s and take them out of the case.

    3. I promise to actually watch the DVD’s, listen to CD’s and take notes… In fact I will not sleep until I’ve watched all 8 DVD’s, gone through the Data DVD’s and listened to all 35 hours of audio… Where’s the Red Bull!

    4. I promise to roll up my sleeves put this into massive action following the exact plan you lay out in this course…. in other words I’ll (excuse me for using a four letter word) Work!

    I desparately need this course! I am an accountant and writer who retired a little early based on my husband’s intention to work six more years. Our retirement was all set financially.

    I had no sooner retired than my husband was forced to retire early due to exteme stress at his special education teaching job at the California Youth Authority. Although he found a less stressful, and lower paying teaching job, we lost the last six years of our planned retirement income. Things are very tight.

    For the past four years I have taken care of my disabled 90-something mother and was honored to do so. She’s my best friend. Her health finally required that we move her to a nursing home, and I am free to do what I’ve always wanted to do. I have taken copyright and marketing courses for years (have a bookcase full of them), and now I would like to speed-learn everything necessary to get a fast start.

    What I would like to do is market and write information materials for our own websites. We do Debt Freedom seminars and classes for local colleges and churches 6-8 times a year. People are so desparately in need of this that we want to set up our site geared to this subject.

    Other sites I would like to set up are related to health and information marketing. I stumbled on to your http://www.newchristianfinance.com site and ended up here, saw the contest, and here I am!

    The first time I ever heard about you and went through your material on your site, it got me interested and inspired me to do something of my own. Also, I was so happy to see a born again believer doing a business.

    I have a desire to do interent business which would help me to work from my home and contribute to the work of the Kingdom of God.I don’t want to live from paycheck to paycheck.     I have worked in oilfield engineering for 12 years (since graduating college) and 4 years ago started a pet sitting business in DFW with the dream of making a career transition. My business has steadily grown and I have built a team of contract sitters but working a full time job has made it difficult to turn it into full time income.

    You see, I am not a business-woman, employee, copywriter, or internet marketer. I am a stay at home mom and I just completed a 78 page ebook. I can’t say that I had the grand idea to sign up for 4 months of intense work while homeschooling 3 children, but my husband has vision ;)

    Why do I need your new course?

    I am a network marketer, struggling to make things work online for about six months now.

    Like many others that have already posted here,
    I have not yet been able to create…or even conceive of a real plan of ‘what to do next’.

    This looks like a genuine roadmap that I can follow, to finally get my online business moving forward.

    I have spent WAAAAY more money than I want to admit on information, books, online systems, online training sites…but putting the puzzle pieces together is not something I have figured out how to do.

    Along the way, I’ve seen various courses out there that touch on many of your subjects, but only in pieces.

Your information has provided us with a lot of solid, no-hype marketing information for many of us breaking into the world of making money online. I do understand the pain and frustrations that people are going through in search of “right” and good information product to get their business jump started on a good foundation. I know your product is really not for the complete beginner, but ones who have some basic experience with computers and internet marketing, and those who have not figured it out how to be very successful. The last part of this sentence includes me.

    I love contests, but with any contest their are essenially two outcomes…you either win or you fall short in the attempt to win.     Just imagine how proud you will feel when you know that giving your course to me as a grand mother in Australia has released me financially to do what I love!
    Just imagine the advertising value when you can say that this grandmother of 5 had been searching for a way on the internet for months to get her message out there into the confusing world of internet and you provided it! I have been so overwhelmed with all the hype and it becomes total confusion to someone who doesn’t even understand the jargon – do this, don’t do that, make thousands of dollars in 10 minutes! Get traffic to your website! Build lists!     I would like to have a go and try to convince you to give me a chance for the free copy of the internet lifestyle retirement system, I have many ideas and a huge desire to have and succeed with an internet business, the problem is I do not know how to put it all together.     The your never to old idea is targeted at the maturing market like the baby boomers and other ideas spring off from this. Without giving away too much information here I am only to happy to discuss this with you further if you thought it interesting enough.
    I believe that if I were to obtain your program it would help me emensily to take my ideas to a new level, this would not only help myself but to help others as I progressed.

    Been having a real tough time financially and feeling quite jaded with the whole IM thing. So I decided to stop and go back to the drawing board. I quickly realised I was caught in the trap of “learning” too much and doing too little.

    I’m a recent recruit to your monthly mentor club which has really helped focus my mind and I’m in the process of creating a solid business plan instead of winging it like before. You also started me thinking of building systems so I can achieve more by working less.

    I want to earn a full time income online and I have no doubt that I will. With your help I can make the best use of my time and talents.

    What I’m lacking is a little guidance and I believe I could really make best use of your structured program to keep me on the right track to achieve my goal of helping as many people as possible to achieve their dreams online.

    I’ve been away for a while but I’m ready, more focused than ever and raring to get started. I don’t believe I deserve this more than anyone else here but I believe I will make most use of the course and will put it into action immediately.

    Hey Terry,

    You shouldn’t SHOULD’NT give me your course. Here’s why:

    - I’m one of the last to respond
    - I’ve tried this internet marketing thing a couple of times before and “failed”.
    - you’ve probably got 4 other people with better responses than me
    - German customs will probably hold it and charge me taxes I can’t afford to pay them right now(yes, even if it’s a gift).

    On the flip side, here’s why I think you might want to consider me:

    First off I wouldn’t let any of the reasons above get in the way of my succeeding. You see, I’m overseas in Germany with my girlfriend. She’s kind enough to let me live with her and give my dream of trying to make this internet thing work a chance. I’m not a bum, I busted my behind with blood, sweat, and tears (for real) for two years so I could give internet marketing a proper chance to work.

    This is a real and deep desire. This is not just some passing interest. I’ve burned my bridges, and sunk my ship. There is no going back for me and I have to make this work.

    I NEED to make this work.

    You could say you’ve directly influenced me. I’ve listened to some of your past recordings and heard your story. I really hope they are true because Terry they are so inspiring. You should
    tell it more often.

    I’m not dumb, although with all these promises that internet “gurus” make its real hard not getting sucked in and being made to feel that way.

    I’ve spent a decent amount in ebooks that promised the world, more on programs that didn’t really deliver, and even more on courses that were probably too advanced for me.

    I’ve put in the hard slog and hours. The only program I got to work with any resemblance to a profit was an ebay program. (at the time I couldn’t really afford it, but somehow I made it stick). Still, after making it “work” it seemed more like a job in itself than an internet lifestyle.

    (It’s a shame that it worked out to paying less than minimum wage, but at least I had a small taste of internet income!)

    For all the efforts it seems that I just don’t get anywhere significant. You can probably relate to this when you were delivering pizzas years ago and were piled under credit card debt – trying to make the internet thing work.

    But that’s ok, I’m determined and will keep on trying. I used to work 3 jobs to survive and got by with only a few hours of sleep. It hurt just to keep my head above water some days.

    Thank goodness those days are over.

    For anyone that has done crappy jobs, I can relate. I did demolition. Not the big crane jobs, but getting in there with a shovel and sledgehammer kind of work.

    Now THAT IS HARD WORK.

    Smashing walls down and shovelling crap out for hours on end. At times it was hot, it was cramped, it was dusty. You’d get dirt and dust in your eyes, mouth, ears and nose – everywhere. Shrapnel would cut you up, you’d have to worry about heavy debris falling on your head or into your eyes. It’s a hazardous job that get’s no thanks. I’d come home with cuts, grazes, bruises, punctures and more all over my body.

    Try doing this for 10-12 hour at stretch, day in and day out. If you think that is bad, hell, the shift work was even worse doing nights!

    Sidenote: You know what? It sure puts training at the gym for a couple hours a week to shame (my boss used to joke and say that “fat” people should come and get paid to lose weight – those are his words not mine).

    After a shift of demolition, I’d then back that up with cleaning and/or personal training. Both of those jobs bored me to tears, but hey – they paid. Some days I walked around like a zombie and I’m surprised I managed to hold those jobs down.

    Working like that taught me valuable experience, and that is – i KNOW what hard work is and the determination thats needed.

    Something I noticed that sux is that people look down on those jobs. I used to as well. Now I don’t give a rats ass and actually respect people that do them because you gotta do what you gotta do. My girlfriend hated seeing me work those jobs because she thought I was better than that.

    But you know what? I think that any kind of work that puts food on the table is good enough for me. And yes, I know there are smarter ways of doing that. I’m just glad it was only “temporary”.

    So What’s Harder Than Shovelling Crap For Hours On End?

    You already know the answer to that question. Personally I think internet marketing is even harder than doing manual labour 18, 19, or even 20 hours every day.

    Why is that?

    It’s because it’s like banging your head against a
    wall and not getting anywhere. In demolition you just knock it down with a sledgehammer!

    Online, you’ve gotta do like 15 different jobs and stay on top of everything. If I knew how difficult it was to start with I never would have dipped my big toe into internet marketing. I would have gone into something else. Except I’ve tasted the sweetness of success, even if it was small, so I will keep on keepin on.

    Does your system hold that key?

    I don’t know. If it does than I hope you’ll consider me as a candidate for it. I’ll do things just as you say to do it, just like a donkey. You
    say jump and I’d say how high. If your system requires some thinking, I can do that too.

    I’ve done programs in the past with some other “gurus” and it’s been disappointing, because in the end the everyone in the program just ended up being exploited.

    So what exactly can I do for you? What would you get out of the transaction? A great testimonial? Great content from all these comment submissions? More? I’d love to be in a working relationship with you Terry. If that were a possibility and a direct result of the course. I’d be a raving maven, a fan that would tell everyone how
    great your course is once I’m successful.

    Because you know what? I try hard. Just like any other person out there hungry enough to get ahead in life. There’s this fire in my belly that wants to better my position. You really do inspire me,
    and I really do want make it online like you did Terry.

    SO does this answer your question? Would I use it? Hell yeah! Would it change my life? I honestly can’t tell you that until I use it. (income is
    not guaranteed blah blah legal jargon – but I’m assuming your course will change my life)

    How would I used it? I’d rip through it probably twice to get good grounding. Then I’d go through it piece by piece and put things into action. I’d probably try to pump out as many great products as I could and launch them.

    You wanted to know how your program would change my life:
    - firstly, I’d be a smarter marketer – you’d be teaching this man to fish
    - second, hopefully I’d be able to help fund my mother’s non-existent retirement.
    - third, I’d be able to stay together with my girlfriend in Germany.
    - then I would get one-on-one coaching with you, by plane, phone it doesn’t matter
    - I’d be at peace and have no more arguments about money with ANYONE.
    - I’d get myself a nice pair of jeans – scratch this one, my girlfriend got me a pair
    for my birthday
    - I’d set up a business or few purely for third world charity.
    - take a trip to Disneyworld

    In the end, I really hope whoever gets your course – uses it to the full potential. It would be a crying shame to see it just sit on a shelf and just collect dust.

    Frankly, when it comes to need, there are 3 or 4 people whose comments compel me to think that this free gift should make a difference in their lives.

    However, I hope I will make my case.
    There are 4 main reasons I would love to receive your “free gift”.

    1)Need
    Over the last 12 months, I have been working in my own real estate business. Having recently married and having to move out of my market, I tried to create a group of affiliates to keep my business going. It didn’t work because my administrative skills to get projects done and outsource tasks was horrendous.

    After examining your free books and your product offers, I believe I agree with your priorities in several areas. I earned a four-year degree in Bible in 1973 with a minor in New Testament Greek. I learned a Bible study method in college which I have continued to develop and have begun to put it in book form this year.

    I actually retired from General Motors/Delphi a year and a half ago where this method helped me to learn a lot of practical lessons and balance my college idealism. Our factory employed well over 1,000 people, so my learning was often tested. I grew to deal with people more lovingly, yet from strong conviction, because I was more sure of what the Bible was saying and how it really should apply to the heart.

    I have a mastery in this much like you have developed in your field. It needs a global exposure not just among grass-roots Bible students, but among the seminarians as well. Everyone who can read would benefit from this, it is so simple to execute. Yet it has the ability to create an open-mindedness in very smart people because it is non-threatening.

    I have had a year and a half to consider a course of action. I do not ask for your program for free because I have some great need. I have set some money aside already and plan to pursue this and a half-dozen related books I see in my pipeline. I have a good voice for audio, also, for which I have another related project in mind.
