The really great thing about putting a plan like this in writing is that you can look back at your written plan to see where you've been placing your efforts in relation to your results and make adjustments.

I believe this is great advice, so many new people start out just going by the seat of their pants and do not take the time to set-up a plan, with goals that have a specific time to accomplish them, you can always adjust the time if you run into difficulties. Everyone should have a daily schedule and a long range goals schedule.

Thanks,
Pugsley

Loved this month's newsletter, Terry. You practically made my blog promo calendar for me! Very easy to adapt and had some very useful sites in there I'd not heard of yet. Thanks!

It was also fun to get something and turn around and implement it right away. :)

The one thing that I do the night before is that I write what I want to do and accomplish the next day. I always work between 8am-11am on my internet business.

I always write down that I want to write one new article, submit it to directories, and to do some other effective things that I want to do.

That way when I go to sleep, I don't think about what I am going to do the very next day. If I had to think of what I was going to do the next day when I go to sleep, I would stay awake a few good hours.

Terry, I follow some of the same steps that you do. The one that I feel benefits me the most is the one about planning the next day before I end my day. It really sets the mind free and it is much easier to go to sleep when you have the plan for the next day written down.

Nice tips. I do something similar. I make a list of things I want to complete in a week. Then I prioritize them. Then I make a daily TODO list with my highest priority items placed first on my list.

My weekly list is based off a much longer TODO list that encompasses my long term plans.
