This is amazing. I hope I can configure it right! Am struggling with a similar software since the last week.

    Hello Terry

Have been reading your site for a while now but had never participated.

Was just watching a video from Lee McIntyre where he mentioned what the term “do follow link”.

Then came to your blog and saw this post. Have used social marker before, but had never noticed that do follow link.

This will come in SOOO handy. Thanks very much.

    Hi Terry,

Thank you for posting this. I have been shown this website before but was really confused with it. Thank you for making it simple as well as mentioning that we should also submit other sites we participate in and not just our own.

The penny dropped when you mentioned that statement. Now I understand the power of it all.

    Thank you.

    Jacinta :D

Thanks for all of this information. I’m focusing on a few of these sites and developing friends and a community there. Now that I’ve been on DIGG longer, I can spot a “spam” message a mile away, and that helps me to know and learn how to create truly useful content.

What are the traffic results you’re getting from the social bookmarking?

    This is great info!

Do you think that I should only submit my home page or other pages of my site as well? Also, should I submit to various directories at the same time or like couple of ones today, then to some others tomorrow and so on?

  10. Terry on February 26th, 2010 10:51 am

Timo: You can submit other pages of your site, but don’t do it all at the same time/same day. And make sure to submit some other sites also – not just your own. For example if you find a good blog post that you comment on and it helps you, often you want to bookmark that to a few sites also.

When you see someone who has only bookmarked their own site, that will be seen as a spammer by many people.

    Hey Terry,

I always wondered how I could filter out and get a list of do follow sites and your video showed me exactly how. It’s time consuming registering at each site, but I can see clearly why it’s so beneficial to do it once and reap the rewards in the future, thanks Sally :)
