Terry, Your Internet Lifestyle System DVD Series is amazing! I have taken many mentoring classes and listened to a lot of DVD’s about creating wealth on the internet. What I like about yours is how easy it is to understand and implement right away. The step by step process is genius. I’m glad you are in the process of creating more DVD’s so we can all benefit from it.

Thanks Terry for this great post and video. I will attest that video sells very well online especially in the membership format. I’m really wanting to put together some dvd’s for sale. There are a ton of visual learners surfing the web for dvd’s! Keep up the great work. I’m a faithful reader of your work and fellow hoosier.

Hi Terry
Once again an interesting concept. I never even thought of Video for promoting any part of my sites, but now I can see where it would work.
When you think about it, most ecourses now include printed matter accompanied with video tutorials and one I am studying at present, without the side by side video, I would be lost. I usually print off the readable section and study it first, then run the video. When I run the video, the visual stays in my head and then I read again. This helps the article to make more sense to me.
As they say in Ireland, “thats a cracker, Terry”..

For me its more a matter of comprehension, how much you take in. I can read quickly, but by watching a video I take in more.

I understand how you feel but I’m just the opposite. I don’t want to be tied to the computer reading. I’d rather get the message in an audio or video. This way I can move around and do other things and still get the message.

I personally would like to see more people using audio and video along side the written word. And even better would be if they allowed me to download it to my ipod so I can take it with me.

Bob: There are different types of learners. Some love to read which I’ll bet you’re one of. Others love audio. Some love video. And some like events (I hate those personally). For video length, the best clips are 2 to 5 minutes although I go over and hit the 8 to 10 minute mark. That is too long! The goal though is that 2 to 5 minute range for the videos. Break down the subjects when you can to smaller clips (mine used to be even longer than they are now – and you do lose viewers).

Barbara: More likely I’ll post a brief video on that subject (selling DVDs) since I’m doing videos on this subject at the moment. But I agree with you…the first hurdle people have is doing the DVD. The next big one is SELLING it.

Making DVD’s is a great idea… The problem I have at the moment is selling. Getting people to buy.

Can you write an article with a brief plan outline as to how you may go about selling your DVD’s.

Now this is something I can really sink my teeth into. Admittedly, I just bought my first video camera, a little Insignia HD camera. I would really like to learn how to use it as both a promotional tool and to make and sell DVDs.

My biggest problem is that I’m a writter, not a graphics person. I also have Camtasia Studio and am really struggling to understand how it works. (Might be another possible info product there.)

And have you found a time length that people are willing to watch but beyond that they aren’t? Just some thought and questions to stimulate the conversation…
