This year, I decided to create for my business (and myself personally) a guiding principle - an idea and touchstone I could use to gain clarity.  A North Star.

My guiding principle is that I create value for all parties involved in my business transactions.  It sounds simple and obvious, but when I filter a challenge or obstacle through that idea, the result is sharpened focus.

Seek a win/win/win.  When you believe that all parties to an interaction can gain, you&#039;ll start tripping over the means to make that happen.</description>
