I've been looking for a new webcam, the one that came with my laptop isn't very good. The Logitech Webcam Pro 9000 that you're using looks great, I'm going to go out and get one. I talk to my boys who are in the AirForce daily using a webcam client. Thanks Terry!

Hi Terry

Thanks for some really cool info. Especially the referral to Killer Sales Video - I've already been over there and purchased an intro video. Don't spend all the commission at once :-)

I've just bought a FlipCam HD, so I'd be interested to hear what you make of the Kodak camcorder

Cheers

Hi Frederic,

ACTUALLY that intro was only $27. I purchased it also.

You'll be seeing some of the $97 type video projects around soon (will test on squeeze pages and sales pages). And yes, I did pay the normal prices (there is a discount for multiple purchases).

Nice little intro! not overdone and certainly worth it for $97. I had two intros and outros done from a guy on eBay for around $250. I'm very satisfied with the results and will now consider testing a video intro in video salesletters to see what happens. If conversion can improve by 10% it will be worth it.

Hi Terry

There seems to be a lot happening around video with a couple of big names creating products and services. (Andy Jenkins springs to mind).

As a marketer I am fully convinced that using video is well worth exploring but... unless you know what you're doing or you know where to go then getting results with video can take time.

One marketer actually tested a low grade video and it hurt his conversions against a standard text and graphic squeeze page. He found that a higher quality video improved conversions.

So, I think and believe video has tremendous scope but people need to keep a check on their stats.

I also recently bought some software that enables someone to use video and when it finishes out pops a buy now paypal button or opt-in form.

This will be tested to see how it shapes up.

All the best

Excellent, thanks Terry! I run a raw food and health website and showing myself to my readers using vids is an excellent way to build trust. They actually see that I'm a fit individual who practices what I preach and not someone who hides behind my computer snacking on cookies and potato chips. ;)

I actually just implemented vlogging a couple of weeks ago and my subscribers really seem to like it. I tend to get many more comments on the videos that I post than the regular articles. This is great because I am still in college and it takes so much less time to create a 3-6 minute video than it does to sit down and write an article.
