The dog got jealous, so we gave him to our in-laws. We still get to see him nearly every week, which is nice. But I'm glad (at the moment) to not have a dog--taking care of three young kids (two in diapers) is enough work as it is! :-) We had a miniature poodle/bichon frise mix until we had our first child. While I have a crazy Italian Spinone now, we have had three Goldens before that and as a child I grew up with them. My parents used to breed and show them and my Mum judged Goldens at the Crufts dogs show several years ago. Nice photos of Rocky and it’s another thing that we have in common.
