SEO is a never- ending, always-learning-more tactic.

However, it does not have to be that difficult.

When we launched our first, original website dedicated to honor the men & women of the Armed Forces, our overall Alexa ranking was around 16 million.

Within three months, we increased it overall ranking to about 1.085 million!
And, we did that without even optimizing the site for keywords!

It is a great skill to learn though.

I just finished reading your post, so I can’t provide a comparison, but…

I’ve been impressed with the writings of Charles Heflin recently. He has one product which focuses on structuring a site so that Google will see it as highly relevant to your topic. In another offering, he dives in to off site factors, primarily a focus on social media marketing. All in all, it seems like sensible stuff, from a sensible guy, with a clear eye on sustainable business models.

Your the other main marketing expert I follow regularly, so if you ever happen to review Heflin’s work, I’ll read with great interest.
