		<description>I&#039;ve been testing social traffic gen including StumbleUpon, Facebook and others and found exactly what you&#039;re talking about here. (So... phew! I was worried it was just me! )

Even more, you can pay for traffic from places like Stumbleupon, (to control which page the traffic lands on), but they don&#039;t appear like pages with incentivised opt-in forms! Crazy.

I see so many many home based business owners putting a lot of time into building pages on social networking sites, etc. and they are making lots of connections, and maybe even getting more traffic to their sites, but it&#039;s not resulting in more sales. 

From a sales perspective, I think people are still better off participating in niche specific Discussion Group with people in their target market, and using a signature file with a link to their website.</description>
