Terry Dean e-Coaching Letter
May 25, 2007
Over the past week I’ve shared with you some of the free resources you get for FREE for subscribing to my newsletter list.
Today I want to let you in on WHY I changed the name of my list from the “MyMarketingCoach Minute” to the “Terry Dean e-Coaching Letter.”
I couldn’t take it anymore!
I’ve unsubscribed from every single Internet marketing email list. There wasn’t a single one worth the time it took to read it.
Here’s what I’ve seen over the past several months…
1. Most Internet marketing newsletters beat the daylights out of me to buy the newest
“hot thing.”
When there is a product launch, you get 100 emails about the same thing over several days. How ANNOYING does that get?
2. Most newsletters regergitate crappy information from free article databases in the name of “content.”
Bah…you’re better off subscribing to good blogs.
3. Most newsletters think I care about how they just made two gazillion dollars…and they’ll tell me all the secrets (sell me more crap for $1,000) on their teleconference.
I don’t know how many teleconferences I’ve seen where they promise free content…but only give a 90 minute sales pitch…on my dime. I don’t mind selling of course, but if you promise content, you had better deliver that.
So I’m tired of it…and I’ve unsubscribed from every Internet marketing list.
You will only see real content that comes directly from one of my paid products in my free monthly e-Coaching Letter…not available for free on any of my sites.
You will also receive action steps in every issue.
A big problem I’m seeing for all Internet marketers is information overload. There’s just too much information out there. Most people are running around like chickens with their heads cut off trying every new thing…and not accomplishing anything.
So each issue will give usuable content…PLUS an at least one if not more action steps for you to apply immediately.
I’m going to take on the role of coach with all my subscribers, because I’ve had wonderful results with my coaching clients.
I hate the term “marketing guru.” Guru simply means teach, but the connotation is someone who is above you looking down on you.
I hate it.
I’m a coach. I help people achieve their best results. I’m going to do the same for you.
I’ve changed the schedule of that list to monthly. This will allow me to make sure every issue includes both immediately usuable content and action steps you can apply to your business.
I may at times send out an email letting you know about the most recent product I’m releasing or about a conference I’m speaking it. But I will always respect and value your time like I do my own.

Got something to say?

Terry,
I am already subscribed from the opt-in form in your blog. Is this one different?
Thanks.
Hi Franck,
Yes, the monthly email letter is different than the blog subscription.
Ok Terry I just subscribed.
