You gave me some ideas, I also have seen some good lists of do follow blogs, but one thing I am going to do and others want to do is go ahead and post a job, where they will go and look at each blog and make sure they are still no followed, indexed and active, I have seen many times the blogs will go back to no follow for whatever reason. Once I get my personal blog up, I m using it mainly for business talk and will use the do follow as to get more traffic and activity to it, so good stuff.

Hi Terry,

Just saw your video, great stuff, especially since you highlighted me :) I love it.

A few extra's to throw in, is i create a spreadsheet of all do follow blogs, and I make notes on it as to whether they allow keywords in the name field. Even if they do, i usually for my first post is to use my real name so they know I am not just using their blogs for link building and then i come back and use my name with keywords in it, and as you said, add to the discussion.

I also will use different anchor texts and urls, and if a blog is a high authority, PR blog, do not care if its no followed, for I still get traffic, helps with yahoo and msn and even for longer tail kws, ive seen some help in there, i know there is some debate if these links count, they do count, but are they passing page rank juice...not sure but getting a link on an authority blog, even no followed, still helps just on a traffic standpoint.

As for some of the software to find do follow blogs, i have found many of them just ok, b/c alot of the links are still being no followed. the best one i have used is http://www.easybacklinker.com, he has a WSO offer for $10 a month, much better than the free stuff out there. I have found great very high PR sites that in my niches that are do followed. Now he does have the same issue as some of the others where links supposed to be do followed are in fact no followed but I have emailed him about that and is working on fixing that issue, either way, its the best i have used and i have used most of the free ones out there.

Chris

PS - I also like to sign my name, to me it tells the blog owner i am a real persona not just using your site for my links

PPS - Terry, not only do we have our faith in common, like yourself, one point in my life i was stuck delivering pizzas...just one way God was taking pride out of me, :)

Hey Terry,

You wrote: "In some cases (when commenting on sites with the Do-Follow plug-in installed, you can even improve your search engine rankings). Watch below for more information."

Actually, I've found in two separate sources mention that nofollow links do help you SEO wise. Apparently the point of nofollow is to deny page rank from being passed to the linked-to site. The link itself is considered for SEO, it just doesn't benefit the target site as much.
