I can relate to Terry in a sense when it comes to material possesions. My mother's 2nd husband was rich and we lived in a 2 million dollar home with a wall surrounding it 8ft tall and iron gate. If you are not careful money can complicate your life in ways you never thought but if used right it can be a vehicle to realizing your goals. I've driven a SABB, Aston Martin etc. but the excitement wears off after a while. My main focus is god, family, health, people and business. An on line business can make it possible. Good luck everyone

Hi all,
I came here from Terry's contribution to my recently purchased copy of The E Code. I'm at square one here (I need some hand holding) and would be happy to realize a replacement of even half of the 5 G's per month I will lose less than 30 days from now. My employer is closing the mill I've spent 26 years driving 35 miles one way to to run machines that create one of their products. During same time I've also been maintaining a hubby, home and raising 4 children. We've been fortunate to have an income that kept us from debtors prison, enabled us to build the Nike brand through our three sons' athletic involvements, and keep the auto industry happy with the commutes to work and school.
My husband and I will both be 50 next year.
I am preparing to go to school while he continues in his 30 year job as a maintenance mechanic. I'm happy to be done with my own commute, the rotating shifts (this has included 12 hour nights and 2 to 3 weekends every month), and the loud environment, but frankly, it's a very scary change to our financial lifestyle.
We've been raised with the typical mindset of "go to work, punch a time clock for your pay", so I'm approaching on-line business with more than a bit of skeptisism.
We don't have any "toys", just a large ranch home on 8 acreas that needs upkeep and I'd like to travel the US a bit. Also there are so many causes I've wanted to be a part of over the years, activities I've wanted to be involved in or help out with but never had the time to devote to. Mostly, I'd like to create something that would enable my husband to retire from his job before he's 65 and to offer some financial help to one of our sons who struggles with a serious medical issue.
I guess my point really is this...I agree with Terry that at some point the material stuff isn't so important and it's easy to understand why Julie desires to become a nurse...it's a giving career. My greatest joys have come from giving to others. Unfortunatly, in this world, it does take money on some scale to accomplish this.
My hope has always been to have both the time and the income to do this. Finally, I have the time....I'm hoping this site will help me with the other.
 Best to you all......

Hi Terry,

I totally agree with you that we have to find out what we want in our life!

However, most of us are lazy and pass our lives day to day, year by year without knowing what we actually want.

Even we have a big dream; most of us don't take actions!

My main problem for doing my projects is that I go into too details and want everything to be perfect!

I admire you and your wife! Your wife was with you whether you were in a huge debt in the past or as a millionaire now! :)

But the way, I have done a blog for my toastmasters club. I have spent most of my time in the past 2 weeks to do it.

I said I have to do it for my club.
Then I can do it!

The main purpose is to attract more guests to attend my toastmasters club.

I enjoy doing it! That's why I can do it!

http://blog.public-speaking-singapore.com/

Just need to add a free report, a pop up to capture visitors' emails and put useful content to it on a regualry basis.

Thanks for all your Great Internet Marketing Products!

All the best To You and Your wife Julie!
